Writing |
Using your planning that you did last week on your minibeast can you use the template in your learning pack to complete a minibeast report. Just do one section per day i.e. Heading, then introduction etc.

Guided Reading |
Bug Club: Lots more children are building up their reading skills by logging into Bug Club. Competition continues to see who can read the most books in one week. I hope lots of you will try and read one book per day. Don’t forget to click onto the Bug Icon and answer the comprehension questions. You can earn lots of rewards to spend in the virtual shop!! Purple Mash Reading – Serial Mash Read the book Ned and the Jungle Animals. Read one chapter per day plus complete activities relating to the chapter.

Spellings |
Complete Fun with Spellings 26:1 – 26:4(one page per day). Middle vowel sound i.e. lad, lid and led/pat, pet and pit/bag, big and beg. High frequency words are their, away and does. Don’t forget to complete the quiz at the end of the week from Purple Mash. It is great fun!!

This week we are learning to (1) locate quarters on a number line and (2) learning our 4 times tables. Minibeasts Focus:- where do minibeasts live? What are micro-habitats? Activity 1: Can you name five of the minibeasts from the video clip? Activity 2: Where do caterpillars like to live? Where do ants live? Where do worms live? Where do spiders live? Where do ladybirds? What is your favourite minibeast? Explain why?
