Digital Leaders
Digital Leaders
Our digital leaders are part of a team of pupils whose role is to support the use and further development of Computing within the school. They will develop confidence and leadership skills through this role, as well as take on new responsibilities and learn new skills.
Their job is to advocate for good behaviour with technology, especially through online safety, support teachers where possible, and showcase various digital skills. They will also be involved in training to further their own skills. The hope is that they will become an exemplar of what is achievable with technology and increase the impact of ICT/computing within the school.
Some of their current responsibilities:
- Demonstrating computer skills to children/parents/teachers
- Managing equipment, such as iPads and computer room devices
- Sharing online safety knowledge and advice
- Supporting other children in lessons
- Digital ambassadors promoting correct behaviour
- Creating digital displays
