Keeping Safe Online
Remember the rules of keeping safe online:
S - Keep safe by not sharing your personal information (name, address, mobile number) to anyone online.
M - Meeting someone you only know online can be dangerous, always speak to parents first.
A - Accepting emails, texts or picture messages from people you don't know or trust can cause problems.
R - Information online may not be true or real. Someone may not be who they say they are.
T - Tell a parent, carer or trusted adult if someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or worried.

Safer Schools NI App
"Educating, empowering and protecting the NI school community."
In St Patrick's Primary School, we recommend that our parents download the Safer Schools NI app. We are always striving to create a safer environment for our children, both online and offline.
Safer Schools is a valuable resource that allows our parents to keep up-to-date with the latest news regarding a wide range of apps and websites, such as Roblox, TikTok, Snapchat, and much more. The app will equip our parents on various topics, such as online safety, mental health, bullying, and more, ensuring that everyone is informed about the risks and best practices associated with digital engagement.

Sign Up to Safer Schools NI Instructions
The Safer Schools NI Help Centre is a fantastic resource for any issues you may face online. You might need advice on blocking an account on TikTok, or reporting an account on Roblox.
Once on the website, you can type in a question and Safer Schools will point you to the correct advice.
