Data Handling & Measures
Primary 4 are learning all about length, focusing on measuring in metres and centimetres.
They all had so much fun making paper airplanes, and even more fun launching them into the sky! After, they all had the chance to measure the distance using a trundle wheel.
Once they got back to class, they collated all of their data and used Just2Easy to display their findings in bar charts, block charts and line graphs.
The next week, we all imagined we were Mr Mack from our guided reading book, The Giggler Treatment. Mr Mack had a very important job - he was a biscuit taster! We all tried some biscuits: Oreo’s, jammy dodgers, fig rolls, custard creams and ginger nuts.
We collected data of which biscuits were our favourite, and began to show the data through a range of charts online.
